Description:
Careers in Healthcare Day will give you the opportunity to explore career opportunities in the healthcare field. Participants will have the opportunity to learn side-by-side with current SCC students and faculty in hands-on activities as they explore career fields such as nursing, dental assisting, medical assisting, respiratory therapy, physical therapist assistant, surgical technology, pharmacy technician, paramedic/EMT, radiology, healthcare services, and medical laboratory technology. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about how SCC can help them achieve their goals in careers like dietitian, medicine, physical therapists through the completion of pre-professional coursework and job training in the healthcare industry.
